The Connecticut Juvenile Justice Alliance is organized into various committees based on issue area. These are:
- Raise the Age CT Committee - advocating for more age-appropriate consequences in the juvenile justice system, such as raising the age of adulthood to 18 and reducing the practice of trying children and youth in adult courts;
- Disproportionate Minority Contact Committee - addressing minority overrepresentation in the juvenile justice system;
- Steering Committee - sets overall policy and direction for the Alliance.
