The goal of the Youth Committee is to help young people advocate for reform in the juvenile justice system through leadership development activities.
Youth Committee meetings are held every other Wednesday in Bridgeport. This year, the committee will be working on:
1. a youth leadership conference on December 18th;
2. writing and collecting stories from young people about the juvenile justice system for the Alliance website;
2. a petition drive to stop the new Bridgeport detention center.
